A Junior Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing team in executing marketing campaigns, projects, and strategies. The Junior Marketing Coordinator works under the supervision of senior marketing professionals to gain experience and contribute to the success of marketing initiatives.
• Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across various platforms (digital, print, social media, etc.).
- Content Creation: Help develop and manage content for marketing materials such as social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Social Media Management: Assist in managing the company's social media accounts, including content scheduling, responding to comments, and analyzing engagement metrics.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies.
- Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, webinars, and promotional activities.
- Data Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and report key metrics such as ROI, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
- Email Marketing: Assist in creating and sending email campaigns, ensuring they are well-targeted and optimized for maximum engagement.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating communications, and organizing files and reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, design, and product development, to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with business goals.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all marketing materials adhere to the company's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent tone and style.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven interest in marketing, with some experience through internships, part-time roles, or academic projects
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with marketing software (e.g., MailChimp, Hootsuite, Canva) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the marketing field
• Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, or SEM is a plus
- Experience with graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
• Work Environment:
- Office-based or hybrid, depending on the company’s needs
- Full-time, typically 40 hours per week
- Potential for occasional travel depending on event coordination needs
